To be honest, there is no such way to stop procrastinating, unless 'YOU' want to curb it. The day you decide your priorities and set your goals and genuinely start working on them, no one in this whole universe can stop you.

So the first thing you need to do is-

1.Plan your day in advance:

It is better to decide what you are going to do the next day or in a week, to have a clear vision of your next goal.

According to the 6P Formula: Prior proper planning prevents poor performance.

When you have proper planning it becomes easy to perform.

Make your to-do list (it's better to write it down), prepare how and when you are doing your task. This will help you to increases your productivity by 25%.

2. Organize your list according to your priorities:

When you don't prioritise your work, you are more likely to do unnecessary things first and leave the most important tasks for later.

Have you ever heard about ABCDE METHOD, which helps you in prioritising your tasks.

A- The most important task. You should complete it by today.

B- Not urgent, you can complete it later also.

C- Neither urgent nor important. Eg:- watching Netflix/ Tv.

D- Tasks you can assign to someone else (like your colleagues/friend)

E- Task with no consequences or importance. You should scratch it out of your to-do list.

3. Taking the first step and taking one step at a time:

Start working on your task immediately one by one, don't jumble your tasks. Take the most important task and discipline yourself to work until the task is not done. Then only move forward to the next work.

Decide to do something towards your goal every day. If you are learning small things they also count {Small progress is still progress}. Upgrade your skills and never stop learning.

  • Read about the topic you want to learn for at least 60 min each day.

  • Attend courses (free/paid) and seminars/webinars to get better insights into your niche.

  • Set weekly goals to complete your courses.

  • Measure your monthly growth. It is very important to know how much you have learnt and the things you have learnt are helping you.

4. Break down your task:

It's more difficult if you try to eat a whole pizza at once, so it's better to cut it into slices.

Similarly, if you have a big task try to break it down into smaller segments. Then focus on completing one section at a time, with all your efforts. It will help you to complete your task quickly and smartly.

~Conclusion~

  • Decide what you want to do and write it down.

  • Keep your to-do list handy and set a deadline to finish all your tasks.

  • Prioritise your tasks based on the 'ABCDE method'.

  • Divide your bigger task into smaller portions.

  • Improve yourself every day, learn new things and upskill.

  • Be optimistic and keep yourself motivated.
